Everything is Art

I’ve often heard people say: focus on one thing. Focus on your career, and the rest will follow. Focus on your college CGPA, and everything else will fall into place. But this never really clicked with me and it is ok

Anyone who knows me in real life can tell you I love doing and discussing about almost everything . You might catch me talking about theosophy one moment and brainrot the next, all within the same hour. My retarded sense of curiosity refuses to stay in a single lane. The world has long carried the phrase “Jack of all trades, master of none.” and this was meant as a caution to people who were interested in multiple fields , but I’ve always preferred the forgotten second half: “ better than master of one.” That addition changes everything. and this was my perspective for a long time ,

To me, life is about exploring as much as possible, learning as much as possible, Why confine yourself to one corner when the whole landscape is open?

Of course, there’s another perspective.Someone could argue that In the modern world, dedication is often romanticized but it can also become a kind of bondage. The “Jack of all trades” has quietly become the default, while true mastery grows rarer. After all, it’s easy to mistake general competence for deep expertise. Imagine an ignorant onlooker watching a master at work, walking away thinking, “I could do that,” without realizing the years of dedication behind the craft.

And yet, the reverse is also true: pure specialization can come at the cost of versatility. To devote yourself entirely to a single pursuit might blind you to the richness of the rest of life, like eating the same flavored ice cream everyday.

but at the end of the day whether you are a specialist or a generalist, whether you commit to one craft or scatter your energy across many, everything is art. The programmer buried in algorithms, the painter lost in colors, the philosopher lost in thought, the wanderer drifting across disciplines trying each and everything is creating something uniquely human.

When you see it this way, the debate between depth and breadth dissolves. What matters isn’t whether you’re a master of one or a student of many, but that you see the art in what you do and appreciate the art in what others do.

Because in the end, life itself is a canvas. Some choose one color and perfect it others splash with many and I belong to the later, Both are beautiful. Both deserve to be seen.
